Virnika connects to Deliverect as an ordering channel, the same way delivery apps do. Phone orders go to Deliverect, and Deliverect sends them on to your POS and kitchen. Your menu, prices, snoozed items, prep time and busy status stay in sync automatically.

Your Virnika onboarding specialist sets up the connection with you. The main step on your side is adding Virnika as a channel for your location in Deliverect.

  • A Deliverect account for your location, connected to your POS.
  • Your Virnika location ID. Your onboarding specialist gives you this.
  1. Add Virnika as a channel for your location in Deliverect, and link it using the Virnika location ID your onboarding specialist gave you. If you’re not sure how, Deliverect support can help.

Once the channel is active, Deliverect lets us know automatically and your location is connected in Virnika.

  2. Send your menu from Deliverect to the Virnika channel. We import it as soon as Deliverect sends it.

  3. Callers can pay over the phone or pay at pickup.

    • Pay over the phone: the order arrives in Deliverect already marked as paid.
    • Pay at pickup: the order arrives unpaid, with the payment due in store.
  4. We go over the imported menu with you, including items, modifiers, prices and hours. Then we place a test order to make sure it reaches your POS and kitchen the way you expect. After that, you’re ready to go live.

  • Menu: categories, items, modifier groups, modifiers and prices, including modifiers nested inside other modifiers. The menu updates each time Deliverect sends it to the Virnika channel.
  • Hours: menu availability comes from your Deliverect menu hours.
  • Tax: uses the pickup and delivery tax set on each item in Deliverect.
  • Snoozed items: when you snooze an item or modifier in Deliverect, Virnika stops offering it. It comes back when you unsnooze it.
  • Prep time: we check your Deliverect default preparation time every 15 minutes and use it for pickup time quotes.
  • Busy mode: when your location is set to busy in Deliverect, Virnika lets callers know the kitchen is busy. When it’s paused, Virnika tells callers ordering is paused. Back online means back to normal.
  • Order updates: Deliverect sends us status updates such as accepted, ready or canceled, plus any change to an order’s pickup time.
  • Orders are sent as takeout, delivery or curbside orders, with the caller’s name and phone number. Delivery orders include the address.
  • Each order’s note starts with PHONE ORDER. Curbside orders include the caller’s vehicle description.
  • Each order gets a short ID made from the caller’s first name and a few characters of the order number.
  • Orders can be placed for as soon as possible or for a later time.
  • Tax, service charges, delivery fees and discounts are sent with the order.
  • Tips are sent as a tip on pickup orders and as a driver tip on delivery orders.
  • Orders can’t be edited or canceled from Virnika once they reach Deliverect. Make changes in Deliverect or on your POS.
  • If Deliverect sends more than one menu in a single update, Virnika imports only the first. Talk to your onboarding specialist if your location uses several menus.
